Hello everyone!
The first hungarian Surf Festival will be held on the 14-15th of May in Siófok-Sóstó at Lake Balaton. The festival is the official opening of the Surfbeach as well. Here come the details:
Our old dream is coming true with this outdoor centre in Siófok: on the most convenient lakeside in Hungary with the best capabilities for kitesurf and windsurf we always wanted to create a recreation centre, where besides the water sports other sport possibilities and exciting club life is available for everyone.
The Surfbeach together with the Strand Camping holiday camp promise sport and relaxation. Kite- and windsurf lessons, RRD kite- and windsurf center, beachvolley, tennis, kayak, table-tennis, foosball, a near cable park for wakeboarding and waterskiing, a friendly club house and the Kiteline Team is waiting for everybody!
Those who have seen the Surfbeach last year will be surprised: we have extended the shore, we have made a beach volley court and built a club house, where there will be surf shop, surf container and an office. We were able to transform the Surfbeach with the help of our sponsors: City Council of Siófok, Fundango, Samsung, Horváth Hungária Ltd, Mountain Dew, Elle.
The program of the Festival:
In the two days event program there will be second-hand surf fair (swap meet), kite- and, windsurf display, catamaran test, free surf lessons, beachvolley contest, windsurf and kayak competition. Everybody can try RRD 2005 kite and windsurf boards, sails and kites. Saturday night there will be After Chill live concert, breakdance show (Sons of God), karaoke and RRD year 10 video.
We welcome everybody who wants to sell or want to buy, who is interested in kite- or windsurfing, wants to play volleyball or just wanna have fun!
